FAQ
Is there a free AI quiz generator with an answer key?
Yes. FlashcardMaker.me makes a quiz of up to 10 questions from pasted notes with no account, grades it instantly and prints the questions with the answer key on a separate page. A free account raises it to 15 questions.
Can it make a quiz from a PDF?
The quiz maker takes pasted text or a .txt file. For a PDF, copy the text in, or upload the PDF to the PDF-to-flashcards tool (first import free with a free account) and study the deck as a quiz.
Which paid AI quiz generator is worth it?
Pay only if you quiz yourself most days. On FlashcardMaker.me, Pro is $9.99 a month or $95.88 a year and allows 100-question quizzes. For a single exam, the $4.99 7-day pass or the $19.99 Exam Pass (3 months, no renewal) costs less than a subscription.
How do NotebookLM, Knowt, StudyFetch and Quizgecko compare?
They all generate questions from your material. NotebookLM needs a Google account; Knowt, StudyFetch and Quizgecko need an account and limit AI file processing on free plans. FlashcardMaker.me is the one you can try with no account, and it turns missed questions into flashcards.
Are the questions accurate?
They are written only from the text you paste, so they are as accurate as your notes. Review the answer key before handing a printed quiz to a class.
